For the last few decades the Raw Food Diet has polished and diminished in popularity. In the year of 1980s Leslie and Susannah Kenton took initiative for Raw Energy movement. After, 35 years, the Raw Food Diet is well-liked with a whole other generation of people looking for ways to stay smart and fit. Introduction Raw Food Diet is the nutritional practice of eating only raw, natural foods. Depending on the precise viewpoint or category of standard of living and results preferred, underdone food diets may consist of a range of nuts, seeds, fruits, vegetables, fish, eggs, meat and dairy products. It may also take in basically processed foods such as various sorts of germinated seeds, cheese, yogurts, kefir, etc. but not those food items which are produced using pesticides, chemical fertilizers, etc. Diet based on raw food is believed that they are most healthful for the body when they are uncooked. As they are eaten almost raw, they are acceptable as long as they are not overheated, and the temperature remains within 104 to 118degree Fahrenheit. According to some, cooking kills the natural enzymes present in the food, which helps to digest the food and absorb the nutrients to the body. When you eat overcooked food you actually force the digestive system to produce the enzymes in excessive quantity. This results in digestive system to overreact and indigestion happens .This again results in nutrients deficiency, accelerated aging and gain in weight. As you all know cancer fighting element sulforaphanes, present in broccoli can get destroyed on overheating. Vitamin C is destroyed by heat. Some foods actually get more healthful after cooking. Like cooked tomatoes contain 3 to 4 times lycopene than raw tomatoes. Cooking promotes harmful compounds in the food due to cooking at high heat, like advanced glycation and harmful heterocyclic amines.
